Slugs!

The day was a sluggish day- as in the children found all sorts of slugs and set them up with habitats.  They transported their slugs on leaf platforms, and created bridges from stump to stump so that the slugs would not be trapped. I wonder if the slugs will be in residence when we return next week?

Spring!

We spent time outside enjoying the warm air and spring breezes. More green, and so much fun! The Barcelona students came outside with us to experience our Muddy Boots Club time. We were happy to share !

Out !

We headed out into the unseasonably warm woods-crossed a bridge and entered a busy play space. The children worked at digging out a stump, balancing on logs, and running. There was a lot of cooperative play as scenarios were acted out; putting together the Pirate Ship, chasing ponies, and finding treasure.

Finally

We finally got outside! Muddy Boots club was very muddy but very fun. Yay Spring!

 Sprinkles of rain, but lots of smiles. We discovered that wood can be slippery when it's wet, and it's best to stay on your feet in these conditions!

 Making sure to take advantage of puddles and thankful for boots!

 A chance to be loud, and climb, and shout, and discover!
