A Rainy Day Hike

We were lucky that the rain paused and that the children had their gear (thank you parents!)and we headed outside. We all agreed that it was a wonderful day for a walk!

We walked and walked today, finding our favorite leaf, trying bridges and balancing, and seeking shelter in the sticks. One of the club said "this is crunchy walking" and that was just perfect!

Another Perfect Autumn Day!

A Beautiful Fall Afternoon!

We headed out to look for signs of fall. There were leaves falling, "wooly bears" crawling, and acorns along our path. We spent a nice moment looking out over the pond as the leaves fell and floated peacefully along. Our afternoon ended with a picnic snack and rolling downhill.
