We had fun walking to the stream and throwing "chestnuts" in the water! After a long walk, we found the "end of the stream" and it was a farm with little piggies who ran to see us. What fun!
We are participating in the 30X30 challenge at Parker School in a big way! yay us!

forts and fun!
We headed out to a beautiful afternoon in our favorite spot. Colorful tents, a sparkling stream to throw sticks into, and lots of running completed our afternoon. Until next time, Michele

Outside in April!
We went outside to look for spring. We found string, sticks, bridges, skunk cabbage, an interesting hole in the ground, mud, and waterfalls. We used the sticks and string to make fishing poles to catch lots of fish (dry leaves), and enjoyed the sound of the rushing water. All's well.
there's the mud!
crossing bridges together today
doesn't this remind you of a fishing trip you were on once? Leaves, a log, found yarn, and a stick. That's all you need!

Out and About!
Today was a day for heading out to make some discoveries. We found pine cones, flags to mark the trail, fungi, and "firewood". Our most exciting discovery was a group of "owl pellets" that were underneath a big pine tree. We couldn't wait to tell the older grades' "muddy boots club" about them!
Until Next Time,
Michele
