It was a Wonderful Afternoon!

Tuesday afternoons are quieter, with fewer children in the woods. We find that the children play as a group; a few will wander for a bit, but most of their time is spent together. This afternoon, it was all about "animals"-according to the hat you were wearing, or the sound you made, you were part of the animal group. It was noisy and wonderful to watch the children negotiate this game that they invented together.

 The sun is shining, there are funny floating bugs that let us catch them, and we are freely playing and exploring in our own space in the woods!
