Winter Wonderland

It was so cold on Friday that we stayed in, but thought to make bird feeders with crisco and bird seed and some beautiful pine cones to hang on our little tree outside the classroom window. We're not sure if birds will come to eat there, but we are going to wait and watch!

Outside on Tuesday when it was mild and there was just a bit of snow. The children don't mind how much snow there is, it makes them happy to be out in it!

there's always something to look closely at!

This log seems to be for sitting and jumping off of. You can ask for help if you need it, but you need to take turns!

occasionally there is some yelling when we're outside.

waiting in line on the log......

It's a bit colder outside and our activity level was high!  The children engaged in imaginative play as they pretended that there was a restaurant on a tree stump. ( I found out that you couldn't order off the menu of burgers and fries.) Others were wandering amongst the trees with magic wands and pony stories.

And We're Back!

We have a few new friends out in the woods with us now, so after we talked about our Muddy Boots Club rules and did our cheer (muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy muddy boots!) we headed out. The sun did not shine, but it was not too wet to play!

Until Next Time,
