windy spring weather!

 we're ready to go!

green!

We headed out into the wind and the sprinkly air, and found some signs of spring, lots of sticks, worms, and bugs to watch over. I seemed to be time to look closely whenever we could. We didn't go far from school just in case the weather turned on us. The wind was windy!

Sock Footed Indoor Fort Club!

We stayed indoors, but we had a very active afternoon! With sheets and clothesline and clothespins we created a large tent space, and the children became very active in "bringing the outdoors in" through crafting fires, marshmallows, sticks, and even outdoor scenery from paper. When we said "let's make a tent indoors!" they said "we need to make a fire!", so the marker table was kept busy for most of the afternoon. We finished our indoor outdoor with a snack and a story, and then everyone helped to pull the tent down.

Despite our late winter weather in spring, the club does go on!

Until Next Time,
Michele
